About me and my practice
Hi my name is Mandi, I live in Lincolnshire with my dog, small holding animals and extended family.
I have special interest working with parents of struggling , challenging children and teens, I also work with young people, I work as a trauma informed practitioner. My experience of neurodiversity professionally and as a mum with personal experience of parenting a challenging child and teenager I can offer real life understanding. When we sit together, I hear your story in your own words, I offer you safety and understanding to work through whatever feelings you have.
Experience
20 years as a behaviour specialist in Primary education, supporting schools and parents with challenging behaviour using therapeutic interventions.
Have personal a professional experience with neurodiversity in children and adults and understand the misunderstandings and challenges that can be experienced due to the atypical world we live in.
Experience of weight loss issues and weight loss surgery both personally and through offering group work projects to support pre and post surgery individuals.
Qualifications
Level 4 counselling diploma
Level 5 Supervisor diploma
CBT, Creative counselling CYP diploma,
Trauma Informed practitioner
Autism Informed practitioner
